WhoWhatWhereWhenHow. Plus one or two Whys. (About Me)

I’d call myself a scientist. An observer. A realist, a seeker, an explorer, unceasingly curious. (Unfortunately, I’m also a snob, but I’m working on that.) More often than participating in happenings, I sit back and watch them proceed. It’s been this way for as long as I can remember. I try always to get a sense for the BIG PICTURE. In fact, I’m obsessed.

I create and nurture theories. Many of them are absurd, and amusing, and I love them. Many of them make perfect sense. I analyze almost everything. Over the years I have started relying on my intuition much more. Information… facts… logic… take us so far. The rest of that distance we must cover on our own two feet, with minimal intellect, whole hearts, and entire souls. With our guts, by god – our GUTS.

I wander from place to place, job to job, idea to idea. My mind is open… though not as open as I would like. So I wander… in search always of that which may better my perception, widen my perspective(s), and further wake me up.

I’m self-reflective, take a slightly Buddhist approach to most things, and am not afraid to walk my mind down those darker paths. Yes, the darkness has its difficulties, but as Pema Chodron said, “Only to the extent that we expose ourselves over and over to annihilation can that which is indestructible be found in us.”
