Stephan Buys

Stephan has the marvelous distinction of being my first-ever South African interviewee. And, as such, we talked a great deal about South Africa, a country I knew very little about before coming to Korea and befriending lots of Saffas (apparently a term used for South African immigrants). I say we talked- I asked the questions, then Stephan did much of the talking. 
He likes to talk. And I love the way his mind works, so I was happy to just listen… and record. We cover a little Korea, a lot of South Africa, some religion… Things get pretty philosophical towards the end. Enjoy… (Credit goes to the Bastard Fairies for the song sample.
